A grafted mango tree is a mango tree that has been propagated using a grafting technique, which involves taking a piece of a mature mango tree and attaching it to a seedling. The mature tree’s piece, called the scion, becomes the tree’s canopy, while the seedling’s trunk and roots become the lower part of the tree.
