Rare Tropical Plant Seeds and Grafted Plant | Grafted Plant Indonesia

Plant Health Standards & Import Regulations

At Grafted Plant, we follow standard export procedures and plant health preparation to support safe international shipment of live plants.

However, plant import regulations vary significantly between countries, and customers are fully responsible for understanding their own local import requirements before placing an order.

Different Countries Have Different Import Rules

Not all plant species can be freely imported into every country.

Some countries may:

  • Restrict certain species
  • Require import permits
  • Require laboratory testing
  • Require additional phytosanitary declarations
  • Prohibit specific genera or plant materials entirely

Import regulations may also change at any time without prior notice.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify:

  • Which species are permitted
  • Which species are prohibited
  • Required import documents
  • Quarantine requirements
  • Inspection procedures
  • Additional declarations needed for import clearance

Plant Health Inspection Requirements

Certain countries may require plants to be declared or tested free from:

  • Insects or pests
  • Nematodes
  • Fungi
  • Bacteria
  • Viruses
  • Soil contamination or other pathogens

Some destinations may require:

  • Laboratory analysis
  • Special treatments
  • Additional phytosanitary declarations
  • Extra quarantine inspections

These requirements vary depending on:

  • Plant species
  • Country of origin
  • Destination country regulations

Standard Phytosanitary Declaration

Unless otherwise requested and confirmed before shipment, we provide only a standard plant health declaration and standard phytosanitary processing according to export requirements.

We are not responsible for:

  • Missing additional declarations
  • Incorrect declaration requests
  • Missing laboratory tests
  • Import rejection caused by unsupported health certification
  • Destination-specific requirements not communicated before shipment

If your country requires additional declarations, laboratory testing, or special certification, customers must inform us clearly before shipment preparation begins.

Additional costs and processing time may apply.

Customer Responsibility for Species Legality

Customers are fully responsible for ensuring that the species ordered are legal to import into their country.

We will ship plants according to the customer’s order request.

We are not responsible if:

  • The species is prohibited in the destination country
  • Customs rejects the shipment
  • Agricultural authorities confiscate the plants
  • Import permits are incomplete or invalid
  • The shipment is destroyed or returned by authorities

Any losses resulting from import restrictions or prohibited species are entirely the customer’s responsibility.

No Liability for Customs or Regulatory Actions

We are not liable for:

  • Customs confiscation
  • Import refusal
  • Quarantine destruction
  • Regulatory penalties
  • Delays caused by inspections
  • Additional import fees or laboratory charges

Customers assume all risks associated with importing live plants into their country.

Agreement

By purchasing from Grafted Plant, customers acknowledge and accept full responsibility for complying with their country’s plant import regulations and health requirements.
