Its lingering finish is regarded by many collectors as among the most distinctive of the wild durians.
Growth Habit
A towering emergent rainforest tree native to humid lowland forests, naturally ascending into the upper canopy. Young trees benefit from partial shade, while mature specimens flourish in full tropical sun with consistently high humidity.
Cultivation
Thrives in deep, fertile, well-drained soils with abundant rainfall, high humidity, and year-round warmth. Avoid drought, poor drainage, and prolonged exposure to cool temperatures or dry winds.
