Growth Habit
A tall emergent rainforest tree, naturally occupying the upper canopy of humid lowland forests. It thrives in consistently warm, humid conditions with filtered sun when young before developing into a full-sun canopy tree.
Cultivation
Grow in deep, fertile, well-drained soil with constant moisture and high humidity, avoiding prolonged dryness or waterlogging. Shelter young plants from strong winds and cold, as this species is adapted to stable equatorial rainforest conditions.
